Most people know me for helping goal-driven adult women. But, what you may not know about me is that I've struggled for years to really dig and recognize what's innate and special about me. I was in a situation where I just followed what others are doing, what's trendy and just go with the bandwagon in the corporate world. But, going with the trend made me tired, unhappy, bored, and unchallenged...and it cost me.
I then decided to pivot from my corporate career to focusing on what truly makes me happy. So I turned my focus on my passion for gardening which I really love doing since my childhood years. Thanks to my parents who taught me and instilled in me the importance of growing plants in our backyard garden. I just enjoyed working with the dirt, seeing my plants grow each day, and harvesting the colorful and healthy fruits that tastes so good in my palate. Since childhood, I'm already a health nut. My sensitivities and allergies to some food (fresh and processed commercially), led me to growing organic edibles - fruits, vegetables, and herbs in our yard. I had the luxury of growing the food that I really want to eat in tropical Asia where I grew up and lived before migrating to the USA.
Fast forward, I've struggled growing some edibles when we moved to the USA. It was a hurdle in terms of climate, weather, soil, and other environmental conditions which are totally different from tropical Asia. It was a trial and error for me and I was disappointed, frustrated with the results. I felt overwhelmed with the changing seasons, the right soil, and the right plants to grow. It was so confusing for me.
I never gave up, fought for it, and overcame the hurdles by surrounding myself with the right people who can help and inspire me. I've learned that digging deeper into what I'm passionate about could bring such fulfillment, fun, ease and confidence to grow food in changing seasons. I've also learned to love more my innate gift and what's peculiar in me. Most importantly, I've learned that I can turn my passion into a proven profitable business and all the lessons that I've got had all the more ignited that green thumb in me to a higher level. That is, to empower and inspire others.
This is why I do what I do, because too many adult women like me are struggling with their health and in growing edible plants they love to eat. Most of them tried but got frustrated with the results. They feel tired, confused, and overwhelmed and don't know where to begin with their gardening journey. So, I help them grow their dream gardens with so much fun, with ease, and confidence that in turn create a remarkable impact in their lifestyle and the environment.
